Overview
The development of the tourism industry in Indonesia is currently growing very rapidly and has even become the country’s second largest foreign exchange earner. Currently, many government and private parties need tourism graduates who are competent and have good attitude, skills and knowledge. In accordance with the Indonesian government’s goal of developing the Indonesian economy from the outskirts through tourism and graduates of the S1 tourism study program will have a Bachelor of Tourism (S.Par) degree.
Learning model
The learning model used in the undergraduate tourism study program uses the industrial revolution 4.0 and independent campus, which prioritizes collaboration between students and lecturers or also with the Student Learning Center (SLC), although there are still some courses delivered using the Teacher Learning Center (TLC) technique. . In several courses field courses are also applied by making visits to companies such as courses in Tourism Planning, Introduction to Hospitality, Introduction to Travel, Tourism Destination Management, hotel management, tourist travel management. It also has a lab learning system, namely a travel reservation lab, hotel registration, statistics and computers, and there will be a field work practice program for 6 months to gain direct experience in the field
